Great Hearts Summer Programs 2026

June 1-26, 2026

Summer Programs at Maryvale Prep include Summer Camp for any student entering Grades 1st-5th in fall 2026, including those on the Great Hearts waitlist and Kinder Readiness for new, incoming kindergarteners. With a unique curriculum each week, whether you register for one week, or all four, it is bound to be an experience to remember!

Summer Camp: Great Camps for Great Hearts

Action-packed, weekly, themed camps are designed to keep campers engaged during the summer while making lasting memories with their friends. Campers will compete in crazy camp games, sing silly campfire songs, and enjoy engaging activities.

It’s a traditional summer camp experience with a classical twist!

Registration begins March 18, 2026, at 8:00 AM.

    • Program Hours: Mon-Fri, 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM | Camp begins immediately after the Summer School day.
      • There are no programs on June 19th. All academies will be closed June 19th in observance of the Juneteenth holiday.
    • Grades: Students entering Grades 1st-5th in fall 2026
    • Pricing: $80/week/scholar. $10 non-refundable registration fee required; includes a summer shirt.
      • No refunds after May 1st, 2026.
      • $15 change fee per camp.

    2026 Weekly Camp Themes:

    🌊 Week 1 (June 1-5) Seafaring for the Daring: Join the crew! Seafaring for the Daring is a week full of mermaids, pirates, oceanography, and more! Each day includes friendly head-to-head style games, sea songs, crafts, science, and skits. On the last day, crews will board their hand-built ships and have an epic battle on the high seas.

    💡 Week 2 (June 8-12) Tinkerers and Thinkers: Art, science, and invention collide during Tinkerers and Thinkers week. Campers will stretch their imaginations as they find inspiration, invent, and create. Projects will include STEM rollercoasters, coding, terrariums, action painting, and more!

    🚜 Week 3 (June 15-18) Farm to Table: *No Camp on 19th* During this week campers will explore how our food goes from ‘Farm to Table.’ In addition to learning what it means to grow, harvest, raise, and preserve food, campers will also discover the importance of decomposers, dig into different types of farms, and make their own ice cream.

    ☀️ Week 4 (June 22-26) Summer Safari: Embark on a journey with us as we go on a Summer Safari! During this week, campers will be transported to Africa right here within our academy walls. During our Summer Safari, campers will learn ways animals are tracked, make animal masks, build a safari vehicle and gear, and experience special visitors.

Kinder Readiness: A Great Start for Great Hearts

Grades: For incoming kinder students only.
Students must be enrolled in kindergarten for the upcoming 26-27 school year and fully potty-trained.
Unique Weekly Programs: June 1-26, 2026 *NO Kinder Readiness on June 19th*
Space is limited! We highly suggest registering early to reserve your space.

Kinder GirlKinder Readiness is designed to help incoming kindergarten students build confidence and feel prepared to start school in the fall.

They will be introduced to the Great Hearts curriculum, the academy teachers, and make new friends. Scholars will practice the skills needed in kindergarten through a unique curriculum each week. You will see their confidence and excitement for kindergarten grow with each week of Kinder Readiness!

Registration begins March 18, 2026 at 8:00 AM. 

    • Program Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM – 11:30 PM | Drop-off begins at 7:30 AM
      • The academy will serve breakfast 7:30 AM-8:00 AM and lunch 11:30 AM-12:00 PM. Pickup is no later than 12:00 PM
      • There are no programs on June 19th. All academies will be closed June 19th in observance of the Juneteenth holiday.
    • Grades: New, incoming kindergarten students ONLY
    • Pricing: $80 per week, per scholar. $10 non-refundable registration required; includes a summer shirt.
      • No refunds after May 1st, 2026.
