Right to Know Notice
In accordance with the U.S. Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESSA) Section 1111(h)(6) Parents Right to Know, please let this serve as your notification that every parent of a student in a Title I school has the right to request information regarding the professional qualifications of his child’s classroom teacher. This information includes, at a minimum, the following:
- Whether the teacher has met state qualification and licensing criteria for the grade levels and subject areas in which the teacher provides instruction;
- Whether the teacher is teaching under emergency or other provisional status through which state qualification or licensing criteria have been waived;
- The baccalaureate degree major of the teacher and any other graduate certification or degree held by the teacher, and the field of discipline of the certification or degree; and
- Whether the child is provided services by paraprofessionals and, if so, their qualifications.
- If at any time your child has been taught for four or more consecutive weeks by a teacher not highly qualified, the school will notify you. If you have questions, contact your school headmaster.
- Teacher resumes available upon request.
Additionally, each school served by Title I, ESSA Section 1116 (c) (1) Shall convene an annual meeting, at a convenient time, to which all parents of participating children shall be invited and encouraged to attend, to inform parents of their school’s participation under this part and to explain requirements of this part, and the right of parents to be involved, and; (2) offer a flexible number of meetings, such as meetings in the morning or evening, and may provide, with funds provided under this part, transportation, child care, or home visits, as such services relate to parental involvement.

Aviso del Derecho a Saber
En conformidad con la Sección de la Ley de Educación Primaria y Secundaria del los EE.UU. 1111 ( h) ( 6 ) Los padres tienen el Derecho a Saber, por favor tome este mensaje como su notificación de que todos los padres de un estudiante en una escuela de Título I tienen el derecho de solicitar información con respecto a las calificaciones profesionales de los maestros de su hijo . Esta información incluye, como mínimo, lo siguiente:
- Si el maestro ha cumplido con la calificación del estado y el criterio de licenciamiento para los niveles de grado y materias en las que el maestro proporciona instrucción;
- Si el maestro está enseñando bajo emergencia u otro estado provisional a través del cual se ha renunciado a los criterios de calificación del estado o concesión de licencias ;
- El mayor grado de bachillerato del maestro y cualquier otra certificación o título obtenido por el maestro, y el campo de disciplina de la certificación o título, y
- Si el niño recibe servicios de profesionales y de ser así, sus calificaciones.
- Si en algún momento su hijo ha sido enseñado por cuatro o más semanas consecutivas por un maestro no altamente calificado, la escuela le notificará. Si tiene alguna pregunta , póngase en contacto con el director de su escuela.

Además, cada escuela atendida por el Título I, ESSA Sección 1116 (c) (1) deberá convocar una reunión anual, en un momento conveniente, a la que todos los padres de los niños participantes serán invitados y alentados a asistir, para informar a los padres de la escuela participación bajo esta parte y para explicar los requisitos de esta parte, y el derecho de los padres a participar, y; (2) ofrecer un número flexible de reuniones, como reuniones por la mañana o por la noche, y puede proporcionar, con los fondos proporcionados bajo esta parte, transporte, cuidado de niños o visitas domiciliarias, según se relacionen dichos servicios con la participación de los padres.
