Maryvale Preparatory Academy participates in the National School Lunch Program and the School Breakfast Program. As part of this program, Maryvale Preparatory Academy offers healthy meals every school day. Effective January 2024, our Academy has been granted free meals for all students regardless of their household income. This is a result of the many NSLP Lunch applications submitted by parents for the 2023-24 school year and the eligibility percentage.

Como parte de este programa, Maryvale Preparatory Academy ofrece comidas saludables todos los días escolares. Pedimos que todas nuestras familias participen en la solicitud de este programa independientemente de sus calificacion. Utilice el siguiente enlace para descargar la aplicación Forma de NSLP del 23-24. Si nesesita  ayuda en como completar su aplicacion siga estas Instrucciones.

Parents please note:
The benefit for free meals was approved mid-year, therefore any outstanding balance on your meal account until December 31st, 2023 will not be covered by the program, this balance must be paid by the parent/guardian of the student, you can log in to the SOS Meal Account to view your balance. Meal charges after January 1st, 2024, will be credited to the meal account and reimbursed in the form of a check. Reimbursements will be done throughout the month of February 2024. 

Registration

Step 1: Login to schooloperations.org

Step 2: Click Parent Registration.

Step 3: Register Student – Student ID and Date of Birth is required. Please contact us if you do not have this information.

Step 4: Add students in the household.

Step 5: Add funds.

Please Note
Online Deposits are processed each night at 2:00 a.m. and will be automatically reflected in your student’s account at that time. Deposits made after 2:00 a.m. will be processed the following night at 2:00 a.m.

Local Wellness Policy
We are committed to the optimal development of every student and believe healthy eating and physical activity are not only good for our students, but will support the academic goals of our school as well. Our wellness policy outlines our goals and nutritional guidelines to promote the health and wellbeing of all students.

If you are interested in supporting our work around wellness, here are some ways you can be involved:

  • Lead a nutrition education or physical activity lesson
  • Volunteer at our next parent event to distribute wellness information
  • Donate equipment or other materials related to nutrition or physical activity
  • Review our weekly community newsletter for important information on wellness
